Character:
Slightly tart and light in colour, this saison has lime citrus character with a hint of mint. A mild hop character supports the lime and mint aromas, with a light sweetness to round off its mojito-like concept.
Naming:
The Mojito is an incredibly popular summer cocktail, combining the lush, citrusy aroma of lime with the crisp, cooling sensation of mint, along with some syrup for sweetness. It is all about the combination of the mint leaves and the lime juice that makes this drink.
"Mimo Hamo" is play on the phrase "Nemo Hamo", a phrase describing rumours that are baseless (literally "neither leaves nor roots". We switched out the kanji for the roots to fruits to make a play on words literally meaning "fruit and leaves", which is of course what the classic mojito is all about.
